The restructuring of the shopping center CAP 3000 designed by the French Architectural Studio Groupe-6, is a significant urban hub at Nice.
This shopping centre faces the sea and the works planned for its renovation are a unique opportunity to redesign that side of the town creating a urban promenade from the port to the parking place and to the underground stop making the whole area far more usable. The waterproofing materials manufactured by FLAG Spa contributed in the realisation of this considerable project, setting down 35,000 square meters of waterproofing membrane Flagon SR, 1,5 and 2,0 mm mechanically fixed to the structure. Three different RAL colours (1014, 6011 and 3021) enhance and emphasise the roofing, marking it further out so as to make it visible from the nearby airport runway. The setting operated by E2J from Marseille didn’t imply any complication even on a roofing marked by sinuous rows of skylights aiming at ensuring zenith light to the underlying spaces.
